Criminal Record Check Status Code Database Maintenance

Criminal Record Status Codes are used to specify an employee's status with province's CRC authority. The Criminal Record Checking (CRC) is a provincial requirement for BC and each province may have a different way of handling the CRC. Criminal Record Checks are done periodically and for certain category as per the requirements of each province. In almost all cases, following six status codes are sufficient:

Status Code

Enter one-character alphabetic CRC Status code. The CRC process is designed to account for the six status codes mentioned above. If you do add another status code for a reason, please notify atrieve so that the CRC modules can be adjusted to account for it. Leave blank and press <Enter> to exit.

Description

Enter up to a 30-character description for the specified CRC code.

Criminal Record Check Status Codes

Criminal Record Status Codes are used to identify an employee's CRC status as of a date. CRC Employee Selection and the CRC Returned Data Processing functions use these codes to update records in PRM. There are some standard codes that should be used, and they are explained with prompts.

Criminal Record Check Code

Enter a one digit code for Criminal Record Check status. Suggested codes are as follows:

If no code is entered, the function will return to previous menu.
