ADS Voice Line Maintenance

The ADS Voice Line Maintenance module lets you maintain the status of the telephone lines used by ADS. 


Insert

  • Allows you to insert a new phone line.

  • Click on the PC Name where you want to add a new line and then click on the Insert icon. The system will create space for the new line and all existing lines from the selected line down will be displayed below the spaces for the new line. Enter all required fields and Save Changes or Cancel if you do no want to save the changes.

  • Pc Name

    • Enter the name you have chosen for your ADS PC.

  • Line Number

    • Enter the number of the line to work with.

  • PC Line

    • Enter the PC line number to work with.

  • In/Out

    • Enter 'I' if the current line is an in line. In lines are used by the system to answer incoming calls.

    • Enter 'O' if the current line is an out line. Out lines are used by the system to call out on.

  • Active

    • Enter 'Y' if the current line is active.

    • Enter 'N' if the current line is not active.  

Modify 

  • Allows you to modify the existing line's settings

  • Click on the desired line and click on the Modify icon to change the line settings.

Cut 

  • Allows you to remove an existing line

  • Click on the desired line and click on the Cut icon to remove the line from service.

Paste 

  • Allows you to replace a cut line

  • Click on the desired line and click on the Paste icon to replace a cut line.

Active

  • Allows you to activate/de-activate selected line

  • Click on the desired line to be activated/de-activated and click on the Active icon to change the status of the line.

Cancel 

  • Allows you to exit this screen and display then menu
