Refusal Code Database Maintenance

Refusal Codes are used by the system to record reasons why replacement employees refused the opportunity of working. These codes are used in the absence entry screens, dispatch entry screens as well as the refusal entry screens.

If your district is using the Automated Substitute Dispatching System, you must use numeric Refusal Codes

Refusal Code

Enter up to 4 alphanumeric character refusal code. 

Description

Enter up to 30 characters of text describing the refusal code.  

Refusal codes can be soft deleted by entering (X) after the description of the code.  IE TEST (X)  This will remove the refusal code from employees when they are logging unavailability.

Category List

Enter employee categories separated by a '/' e.g. CASU or /CASU/CONT/

If this field is non-blank, this refusal code can only be used for employees belonging to any of the categories defined 

If no categories are entered, the refusal code can be used by all employees.
