TOC Seniority Additions
The TOC Seniority Additions module lets you manually add TOC Seniority records to an employee. This is not the normal way however, to create TOC Seniority records. The TOC Seniority Import, TOC Seniority Calculation Process and Teacher Seniority Date Calculator would be the normal method of creating TOC Seniority records.
Employee
- Enter the employee number. Search to view valid employees. Leave blank and Enter key to exit.
Source
- The source field indicates what process created the seniority record. The only option is 'Manual'. The TOC Seniority Creation Process uses a source code of 'System'. The Teacher Seniority Date Calculator uses a source code of 'Calculator', while the TOC Seniority Import uses the key word 'Import'.
Start Date
- Each seniority record contains a start and end date to indicate what time period the seniority amount applies to. Each time you create a new seniority record a different date range are used. Overlapping date ranges is prohibited by the system.
- Enter a valid date as (YY)YYMMDD. This date must be filled in.
End Date
- Enter a valid date as (YY)YYMMDD. This date must be filled in.
Amount
- Enter the TOC seniority amount. This field represents the number of days an employee has worked in a long-term assignment within the date range.
Username
- The username field is filled in automatically when the seniority record is created. The username is the VMS or Security Management username of the person who creates the seniority record.
Timestamp
- The timestamp field is filled in automatically when the seniority record is created. The timestamp is the date and time that the seniority record is created.
