ADS Menu Options Security Additions
The ADS Menu Options Security Additions module lets you define different levels of Automated Dispatch security for different groups of employees. This security code lets you control the Automated Dispatch menu options employees have access to over the phone. For example, you can set up one security code for administrators, another for teachers, another for substitute teachers etc. depending on what options you want them to be able to access.
You will likely want to give administrators access to all menu options. Teachers will need access to the absence logging, cancellation, closing and inquiry options. Part time teachers that also substitute teach will need all of the absence options mentioned above, as well as all the dispatch options so they can accept, cancel, close and inquire on dispatches.
If you designate a security code to have administrator privilege, employees with that security code will be able to perform any option on behalf of any other employee.
The extent of these options are controlled by field Activate Admin Location Security in the Automated Dispatch Absence Parameter Profile.
ADS Security Code
Enter up to a 4 character alpha/numeric security code. If you are in change, delete, or inquiry mode, use the binoculars or CTRL-F to view security codes.

Main Menu
Enter the options that this security code can access from the Main Menu.
Absence Menu
Enter the options that this security code can access from the Absence Menu.
Inquiry Options
Enter the options that this security code can access from the Inquiry Options Menu.
Close Options
Enter the options that this security code can access from the Close Options Menu.
Cancellation Options
Enter the options that this security code can access from the Cancellations Options Menu.
General Employee Options
Enter the options that this security code can access from the General Employee Options Menu.
Administrative Options
Enter 'Y' if this code is to be used by Administrators. Administrators can perform any function for themselves or on behalf of any other employee.
