Workboard Text & Email Profile
Text Message (Yes/No):
Indicate “Yes” if you wish to receive text messages or “No” if Workboard is not to send a text when the employee is requested.
Start Time/End Time:
A text message will only be sent if the absence they are requested for is logged between the start and end times set in these profile options. This allows users to set a time range for receiving messages that will not disturb them if an absence is logged late at night. If they are requested for an absence logged during their "off" time, they may either set email to a different range and check emails first thing in the morning, or they will be called out in the usual order by the phone system or see the job when it becomes available on workboard. They will not receive a text message if the absence is logged during their "off" time.
Cell Phone 1
Specify the primary cell phone number to send notification to.
Cell Phone 1 Provider
Select the cell phone provider for cell phone 1 from the drop-down provided. (The list of providers must be set up at each district as part of the configuration for this program).
Cell Phone 2
Specify the secondary cell phone number to send notification to.
Cell Phone 2 Provider
Select the cell phone provider for cell phone 2 from the drop-down provided. (The list of providers must be set up at each district as part of the configuration for this program).
Email Message (Yes/No)
Indicate Yes if you wish to receive an email or No if Workboard is not to send an email when the employee is requested.

Email Address 1
Specify primary email address to send notification to.
Email Address 2
Specify a secondary email address (if any) to send notifications to.
Send to Work Email
If set to “Y” the program will check the HR database for a work email and send the notification to there as well as any others specified in this profile.
Cell Phone No 2
Specify the secondary cell phone number to send notification to.
Cell Phone 2 Provider
Select the cell phone provider for cell phone 2 from the drop-down provided.
Once the fields are completed, the user may either click the "Submit Profile" button, or the "Test Profile" button to submit and have the system send a test message and/or email.
