The Settings Page provides you with the configuration options for External Job Posting. Many of the setting defaults have been carefully considered for optimal use of External Job Posting.
Caution: do not make changes to a setting in EJP if you do not fully understand what the outcome would be.
The majority of settings are technical in nature and will require IT involvement. Please refer to the Settings Technical Configuration Guide for more details.
The district may work with the atrieve Services team to configure the following, less technical, settings:

This setting controls the document types that are allowed to be uploaded. Default setting includes: .txt, .doc, .docx, .pdf, .rtf, .xls, .xlsx, .jpg, .jpeg, .tif, .png, .gif, .bmp, .ppt, .pptx
CustomFieldMaintainApplicationFieldAnswerState

this setting controls whether or not to show custom fields in the application view when their corresponding custom fields have since been removed from the page or deleted. If set to 'True' then you will see the fields that were applicable at the time that the application was saved, if set to 'False' then you will only see those fields available as of today.
AutoLoginAfterRegistrationConfirmation

This controls whether or not to log the user into the EJP portal automatically after performing the registration step. If set to false the user will be required to login (i.e. enter their user name and password – only external applicants – not atrieve users).
EJPContentType

EJP uses Sharepoint as the document repository, this setting allows you to set the SharePoint content type. By default the content type is EJP_APPLICANT_DOC

This setting controls whether a Hiring Manager will have access to ALL job postings from the Job Posting Search page, or only those job posting where they have specifically been selected as the Hiring Manager in atrieveHR when the job posting was created.

This setting enables you to specify the maximum document size that can be uploaded. The default is 4MB.
PageBannerHeight

This setting enables you to specify the height in pixels of the page banner. The default value is 82. Note: leave setting at zero to maintain aspect ratio when width is specified

This setting enables you to specify the quality of the image file uploaded to the page banner. The default value is 70. If the resolution is too low then increase the number.

RegistrationRedirectToProfilePage

This controls whether the newly registered user will be redirected to the My Profile – Personal Info page to enter their demographic information. The default is 'True'
UserLockOutDays

This setting enables you to specify the number of days a user will be locked out from EJP if they have their user account revoked. Default is 'MAX' this means that the user will not be able to sign in with the revoked account credentials indefinitely. Alternately you could specify a number in days (i.e. 30 days). Note that if an applicants access to the system is revoked that information will be displayed on the Applicant Details page of any applications that they have submitted.

This setting controls the text to be included in the email message that is sent when a new user registers for EJP to confirm their account creation. This setting is relevant only if the setting UseTwoStepAuthentication is set to 'True.
