Application Details
Information about the applicant, such as telephone number, address and email address display, along with the date and time that the applicant submitted their application for the job posting. Note that the email address is a clickable hyperlink, and when selected will invoke the users email service, so they can send an email directly to the applicant. Also, note that if the applicant has been 'Blocked' or their access to the job posting site has been revoked that information will be indicated in this section as well.
Once the application has been reviewed the hiring manager will click on the Update Application Status button and select one of the following options:
-
When an application has not been reviewed the status will be 'New' (by default)
-
There may be a case where you would want to change the status of an applicant to 'Blocked'. A blocked applicant will not know that they have been blocked, but other hiring managers will be able to see this information.
-
If an application is missing information, you may set the status to 'Incomplete' as a reminder to contact the applicant to supply the missing information in order to be considered for the position.
-
If an application is still under review, you may set the status to 'Pending'
-
If the candidate is not the right fit for the position, you may set the status to 'Rejected'
-
so that other hiring managers will be able to see this information.
-
When the documents included with the application have been verified by the Hiring Manager, you may set the status to 'Verified'
-
If the applicant is a strong candidate for the position and you would like to pursue with the interview process, then you would set the status to 'Short Listed'. Setting the status to Short Listed will transfer that applicant's information to atrieve, including demographic information, certifications, and subjects & levels so that if the candidate is ultimately hired their information will already be there for further onboarding.
