Permissions

There are three levels of access for External Job Posting, as follows:

  • EJP Admin

  • EJP HR

  • EJP Hiring

The functions/menu options that display once a district employee is logged in is dependent on their security permission.
Employees with the EJP Admin permission will have access to all functionality/pages, including: My Dashboard, Custom Fields, Pages, Documents, Users, Settings, and Tasks.

Note: The EJP Admin permission should be reserved for those individuals with a strong technical background, as making changes to Settings, for example, could produce unexpected results when not fully understood. Typically the EJP Admin permission will be given to District IT staff.

Employees with the EJP HR permission will have access to the following pages: My Dashboard, Custom Fields, Pages, and Documents. This user will be able to create custom fields and pages as well as view and work with postings, applications and applicants.

Employees with the EJP Hiring permission will have access to the My Dashboard page only. This user will be able to view all postings assigned to them as the hiring manager. The hiring manager can view applications, and applicants as well as make decisions about which candidates to shortlist for the interview process.
