Permanent Employee Search Criteria Menu
The Permanent Employee Search Criteria Menu gives you access to the modules which maintain the search criteria of permanent employees. The word permanent is used here to differentiate between regular employees and those who replace them (substitutes/casuals). The permanent (regular) employee search criteria is only used if prompt Use Assignments To Pick Up Criteria on the Search Parameters screen is set to 'P' or the Prompt For Subjects & Levels prompt in the Voice Absence Parameter screen is set to 'P'.
This menu not only provides the standard four maintenance (Add, Change, Delete, Inquire) and report modules, it also gives you access to two processes which will load this criteria from either the Continuing Emp/Applicant Preferences screen, or the employee's assignment(s).
The criteria specified here are compared to the substitute/casual preferences to find the best qualified replacement.
