The Telephone Number Profile is used in conjunction with ADS to determine whether phone numbers are classified as local or long distance.
Identifying Local Prefixes
To identify local prefixes for your region:

Visit the Local Calling Guide.

Select Regions from the main page.

Choose your Province and then your City.

On the city page, click See All Local Prefixes.
All prefixes not listed as local must be entered under the Long Distance Profile. You can toggle between Local and Long Distance profiles by selecting the icon located in the bottom-right corner of the interface.
Bulk Entry for Long Distance Prefixes
To include all numbers under a specific area code in the Long Distance Profile, enter the area code followed by three asterisks.
Example: 204***
Reporting and Validation
To identify configuration issues:

Run the report by selecting the Report icon in the bottom right corner for Product P (PRM).

Review entries marked as "Not in Profile"—these indicate missing prefixes that should be added to the appropriate profile.

The report also flags invalid number lengths, which occur when phone numbers are entered incorrectly in the system.
