Screen Control Profile
The Screen Control Profile Menu gives you access to the modules that maintain the screen control profile. This profile lets you control how certain screens function. This profile can be set up differently for different employee groups.
Screen Control Profile Additions
The Screen Control Profile Additions screen lets you create new profiles to control how certain screens within HR function. As explained above, this profile can apply to all employees or certain employee groups.
Screen Code
Enter the name of the screen you want to create a profile for. Search for valid screens for which you can create a profile.
Type
Enter the type of group this profile is to apply to. Search to for valid groups.
Code
Enter the code for which you want to create the profile. Search to view valid codes. The codes you see depends on the type you chose. If you chose Position you will see position codes. If you chose Category you will see category codes. If you chose Default you must enter a code of Default.

If you chose Assignment Screen the groups below are determined based on the position code entered on the assignment.

As stated above, the system chooses which profile to use based on what position code is entered. The position code contains all the fields listed. It will search through each of the 10 levels in the above order until it locates a match. If you want the Assignment Screen to work one way for all employee's that worked in the position CUST, and a different way for all employees belonging to the category of TEACH and yet a different way for all other employees, 3 different profiles. One with the Type of Position and Code of CUST, another with Type Category and Code of Teach, and a third with a Type of Default and Code of Default.
