The AMS Web Group Profile Menu contains the options for creating and maintaining the employee group profiles for the AMS Web screens. A profile must be created for each employee group before the AMS screens can be used. The settings on each profile will control what the user will be able to view.
Attendance Management Web Profile Additions
The Attendance Management Web Profile Additions screen controls the options available on the Web based daily and weekly Attendance Management screens. This profile needs to be created for each employee group that will be displayed on the Attendance Management Web screen. Employee groups are defined in the Substitute/Casual dispatch parameters profile, AMS Groups field. Each employee group can have different fields displayed and options activated.
Group
Enter the employee group name to create this profile for. This name must be the same group name specified in the Substitute/Casual dispatch parameters profile page 2, AMS Groups field.
Fields to Display in Daily Review Screen
Choose the fields that are to be displayed on the Attendance Management Web Daily Review screen for the employee group entered in the above field. The fields that are selected will be highlighted. To de-select the fields press choose the Select button again on the highlighted field.
Choose the Next button when all fields have been selected and the fields will redisplay with the options to move the fields into the order for them to appear on the Web screen.
Choose Finished if the order of the selected fields is correct.
Enter 'U' to move the field your cursor is sitting on one field up from where it was originally. Continue to enter 'U' until this field is in the correct position.
Enter 'D' to move the field your cursor is sitting on one field down from where it was originally. Continue to enter 'D' until this field is in the correct position.
Fields to Display In Weekly Authorization Screen
Click on the fields that are to display on the Attendance Management Web Weekly Authorization screen. The selected fields will be highlighted. The same windows as described in the Fields to Display in Daily Review Screen will display. The fields to be displayed on the weekly authorization screen can be selected and then re-organized if required.
Day or Hour Units
Enter 'D' if the entry of absence/replacement time is to be recorded in Days for this employee group.
Enter 'H' if the entry of absence/replacement time is to be recorded in Hours for this employee group.
Default Daily Review Lines as Ok
Enter 'Y' if each entry on the daily review screen is to be marked as OK by default.
Enter 'N' if each entry on the daily review screen is to be left blank requiring they be marked as OK.
Default Weekly Authorization Lines as Ok
Enter 'Y' if each entry on the weekly authorization screen is to be marked as OK by default.
Enter 'N' if each entry on the weekly authorization screen is to be left blank requiring they be marked as OK.
Force Response to Each Line In Daily Review
Enter 'Y' if each entry on the daily review screen must be marked as correct or incorrect before allowing the user to exit from the screen.
Enter 'N' if each entry on the daily review screen does not have to be marked as correct or incorrect before exiting from the screen.
Force Response to Each Line In Weekly Authorization
Enter 'Y' if each entry on the weekly authorization screen must be marked as correct or incorrect before allowing the user to exit from the screen. Each entry must be marked as correct before the module will allow authorization of the week.
Enter 'N' if each entry on the weekly authorization screen does not have to be marked as correct or incorrect before exiting the screen.
Fields That Trigger A Change of Status
Enter the letters (that represent data fields) that constitute a change important enough to trigger a change of daily review status from reviewed to changed, and also create carry forward entries if a change is being made to information that belongs to a week that has already been authorized.

Default from Email Address for Comment Processing
Enter the default from email address that applies to this group of employees. This is used as the default in the comment processing screen of Absence/Dispatch Changes.
