User Defined Field Description Profile

The User Defined Field Description Profile Menu gives you access to the modules that maintain this profile. This profile is used to customize certain fields within HR. They include the date fields on the hire screen and user defined fields in the position database. 

User Defined Field Description Profile Additions

• The User Defined Field Description Profile Additions module is for use by atrieveERP only.

Field Key

• Choose the field key for the user defined fields to be changed. Currently the 3-field key are:

Hire Dates 

• This field key lets you customize the date fields on The Hire Screen field 8-18.

POS DB FLD    

• This field key lets you customize the three database fields attached to each user defined position field.

Position

• This field key lets you customize four user defined position fields in the position database fields 22-25.

02-40 (Even) = Long Description

• Enter the long description of this field. This field appears on the screen where it is maintained.

03-41 (Odd) = Short Description

• Enter the short description of this field. This field appears on various reports.
