Employee Demographics Report

The Employee Demographics Report has been designed to let you report on employee's demographic information. This report is extremely flexible in that it allows you to sort in twelve different orders. You can also specify a comprehensive range of selection criteria to select  a very  specific group of employees to report on. It also gives you added flexibility by letting you specify which demographic fields appear in the report.  They include: employee number, name, location, bargaining unit, employee type, language, ethnic code, disability code, citizenship code, department head, gender, marital status, seniority date, SIN, hire date, birth date, phone 1 and phone 2. 

Report Order

This  prompt lets you choose one of the 12 sort orders available. This is useful to view the employees in different categories. For example, if you sort the report by location, you can see all employees that work at each location. If you sort by bargaining unit, you see all employees which belong to a certain bargaining unit.

Report Sort

Enter A to sort employees alphabetically by Name.

Enter N to sort employees numerically by Employee Number.

Employee Selection

Enter A to consider all employees for selection.

Enter S to enter selected employees individually.

Demographic Location

Enter up to 10 Employee locations. Employees matching the entered locations will be considered for reporting. If no locations are entered, all employees will be considered for reporting.

Bargaining Unit

Enter up to 10 Employee bargaining units. Employees matching the entered bargaining units will be considered for reporting. If no bargaining units are entered, all employees will be considered for reporting.

Employee Category

Enter up to 10 Employee Categories. Employees matching the entered Categories will be considered for reporting. If no Categories are entered, all employees will be considered for reporting.

Primary Language

Enter up to 10 primary Language Codes. Employees matching the entered Language Codes will be considered for reporting. If no Language Codes are entered, all employees will be considered for reporting.

Ethnic Code

Enter up to 10 Ethnic Codes. Employees matching the entered Ethnic Codes will be considered for reporting. If no Ethnic Codes are entered, all employees will be considered for reporting.

Disability Code

Enter up to 10 Disability Codes. Employees matching the entered Disability Codes will be considered for reporting. If no Disability Codes are entered, all employees will be considered for reporting.

Citizenship Code

Enter up to 10 Employee Citizenship Codes. Employees matching the entered Citizenship Codes will be considered for reporting. If no Citizenship Codes are entered, all employees will be considered for reporting.

Department Head

Enter up to 10 Department Codes. Employees who are head of entered Departments will be considered for reporting. If no Department Codes are entered, all employees will be considered for reporting.

Gender

Enter up to 10 Employee Gender Codes. Employees matching the entered Gender Codes will be considered for reporting. If no Gender Codes are entered, all employees will be considered for reporting.

Marital Status

Enter up to 10 Employee Marital Status Codes. Employees matching the entered Marital Status Codes will be considered for reporting. If no Codes are entered, all employees will be considered for reporting.

Fields

This prompt lets you define which fields appear on the report. Specify by entering the character associated to each data field. Field characters are:

If, for example, you entered 'NELBGMS' the report will contain name, employee number, location, bargaining unit, gender, marital status, and seniority date.

Although there are up to 18 different fields you can select, be careful not to select too many. All the fields you select must be able to appear on one line. If the fields you specify exceeds this limit, the report will inform you and abort.
