Staff Age And Gender Count Report

The Staff Age And Gender Count Report provides a listing of the number of males and females that fall within the age ranges specified by location. A column has been added to the report to display the average age of staff at each location.  This age is preceded by an 'A'. 

Location Source

Enter 'D' or to report the employees based on their demographic location.

Enter 'A' to report the employees based on their assignment locations.

If you select 'A', the following two prompts will appear:

As Of Date

Enter the ASOF assignment date. The system uses this date to read the assignment file and select all employees with assignments created since and including this date.

Include Leaves

Enter 'Y' to consider leave assignments along with the other assignments for the selection of employees to report on.

Enter 'N' to exclude leave assignments for selection of employees.

Enter 'O' to consider ONLY the leave assignments for selection of employees.

NOTE: The Assignment Type Code determines whether an assignment is a leave assignment.

Employee Categories

Enter up to 10 Employee Categories. Employees with matching Category codes will be considered for reporting. If no categories are entered, all employees will be considered for reporting.

Demographic Departments

Enter up to 10 Employee Departments. Employees with matching Department codes will be considered for reporting. If no departments are entered, all employees will be considered for reporting.

Demographic Bargaining Units

Enter up to 10 Employee Bargaining Units. Employees with matching Bargaining Units will be considered for reporting. If no bargaining units are entered, all employees will be considered for reporting.

Demographic Positions

Enter up to 10 Employee Positions. Employees with matching Positions will be considered for reporting. If no positions are entered, all employees will be considered for reporting.

Locations

Enter up to 10 Locations. Employees with matching Location codes will be considered for reporting. If no locations are entered, all employees will be considered for reporting.

NOTE: If you selected Demographics as your location source, the system will check the entered locations against the location on the Employee's Demographics screen. If you entered Assignments as the location source, the system will check the locations in the Employee's Assignment screen.

Location Types

Enter up to 10 Location Types. Employees with matching Location Types will be considered for reporting. If no location types are entered, all employees will be considered for reporting.

NOTE: If you selected Demographics as your location source, the system will check the entered location types against the location type of the location on the Employee's Demographics screen. If you entered Assignments as the location source, the system will check the location type of locations in the Employee's Assignment screen against the entered location types.

Age Range

Enter up to 8 from and to values for age ranges. The report displays the total number of males and females for each location under the appropriate age columns. An example of an age range would be: 0-25, 26-35, 36-50, 51-60, 61-65 66-100.

Include Sub/Cas/Both/None

Enter 'S' to include employees that are eligible to work as Substitutes.

Enter 'C' to include employees that are eligible to work as Casuals.

Enter 'B' to include employees that are eligible to work as Casuals and Substitutes.

Enter 'N' to exclude all Casual and Substitute employees.

Employee Selection

Enter 'A' to consider all employees for selection.

Enter 'S' to enter selected employees individually.

Include Employee Details

Enter 'Y' to list the employees that work at each location. The information displayed for each employee includes: employee name, employee number, location number, gender, birth date and age.

Enter 'N' to hide the display of the employee details.
