FTP Profile Database Maintenance

The FTP Profile module lets you create FTP codes which are used by some reports to automatically FTP the report/merge file from your ALPHA server to your PC. This profile requires an FTP server to be running on your PC. This facility is currently only in use on the Employee Vacation Report.

FTP Profile Code

• Enter up to 30 alphanumeric character unique code to define the required fields to FTP a file from the Alpha server to your PC. 

FTP Profile Description

• Enter up to 30 character description of the FTP code above.

PC User Name

• Enter the username for the PC where the file will be transferred.

PC Password

• Enter the password required by the FTP server software to login into the PC.

PC IP Address

• Enter the IP address of the PC you want to send the file to.

PC Destination Directory

• Enter the directory on the PC that you want to send the file to. The directory name must begin with a forward slash ('/'). See the below example:
