Salary Code Database Maintenance
The Salary Code Additions screen lets you add salary codes into the system to be used in the assignment system to allow entry of more detailed salaries. Special allowances for qualifications and education could be defined and entered. Once the salary codes have been entered here, you can access them on the assignment screen. Each salary code amount is then added and the total is placed on the total salary field on the assignment. Currently this feature is activated in the assignment screen by customer number.
Salary Code
Enter a salary code of up to 5 alphanumeric characters.
Description
Enter up to 30 characters of text describing the salary code.
Default Amount
Enter the dollar amount to appear as a default when using this code on the assignment screen.
Multiply Amount By FTE
Enter 'Y' if the default amount is to be multiplied by the FTE.
Extra Days
Enter 'Y' if this code is an extra days salary code. If 'Y' then the following formula will be used to calculate the default amount:
(Number of days - Base days) * (Total Extra Salary/Base Days)
Base Number Of Days For Extra Amount
Enter the number of days to be used as the base days in the above calculation of the extra days default amount.
Incclude In Extra Days Calculation
Enter 'Y' if the salary code being defined is to be included in the calculation of the extra days default amount.
