Institution Code Database Maintenance

The Institution Code is used to define specific educational institutions, for use with the Certification system. The type of institution entered in this database would range from universities down through union trade schools and other institutions which grant some form of certification. 

Institute Code

Enter up to 10 alphanumeric characters code for this institution. Often you will be able to use the institutions abbreviation for this purpose. For example UBC for the University of British Columbia.

Institute Name

Enter up to 30 characters for the Institution name.

Institute Type

Enter an Institute type code.

Entries in this field will be validated against the Institute type code database.

Country

Enter the country in which this institution- is located in. It is recommended use of the codes found in the back of the HR manual for this purpose. 20 characters are allowed for country's name. This field is optional.

State/Prov

Enter up to 20 characters to identify the state/province this institution is located in. Entry of the state or province is optional.
