Location Type Database Maintenance
The Location Type allow you to group locations of similar nature and report on them collectively as required. This code appears on the location screen and is used for many reports as selection criteria. Common location types could be Elementary Schools, Middle Schools, Secondary Schools etc.
Location Type Code
Enter a single character location type code.
Typical location type codes could include the following:

The asterisk * is hard coded logic, that when applied to a location code in the location type field, it is telling the system to not include this location in the weekly/daily attendance monitor.
Description
Enter up to 30-character description of the location type code.
Cost Centre
Enter a valid cost centre for this type of locations.
Supervisor Position
Enter a valid position code for a supervisor as a default. If for a location, no supervisor has been assigned, then the employee with this position at that location will be the supervisor by default.
Assistant Supervisor Position
Enter a valid position code for an assistant supervisor as a default. If for a location, no assistant supervisor has been assigned, then the employee with this position at that location will be the assistant supervisor by default.
Schedule Base Minutes
Enter the number of minutes for a default schedule at this type of locations.
