The Assignment Reason Code is used when you create an assignment (field #12 - Assignment Add, Change) to describe the reason for the assignment (i.e., if an assignment is created because an employee is on extended leave, set up a reason code of EXLEAVE to attach to the assignment). The assignment reports will allow you to select assignments for a specific reason code.
