Authority Code Database Maintenance

The Authority Codes are used in conjunction with Authority Levels to define different levels of authority to be attached to various sub-systems within HR. Authority codes give access to specific people or positions to perform certain functions like approving leave applications. Each authority code is attached to an applicable authority level. For example, the authority code HRHD could be created to stand for the Human Resources Department Head. This authority code can also be assigned an optional name and must be assigned an authority level. In the example below the authority level 300 (Department Supervisor) has been used.

Authority Codes and Levels are not used in the current version of HR.
