Ethnic Code Database Maintenance

Ethnic Codes are only necessary if your site is required to perform some form of Equal Opportunity reporting. Set up these codes in accordance with the requirements of your reporting agency. If you are not required to report this type of information the use of this table is entirely optional.

Ethnic Code

• Enter a 2 character alphanumeric code. This code will be used to describe ethnic background. 

• For example:

  • FC - French Canadian

  • AB - Aboriginal

  • EN - English

Description

• Enter up to 30 characters of text. Where possible, make the first 20 characters the main descriptive text. In some functions, this text may be truncated for display purposes.
