Termination Type Code Database Maintenance

Termination Codes are used to terminate an employee by using the employee hiring information screen. Using termination codes lets you extract terminated employees by why they were terminated.

Termination Code

• Enter up to 10-character alphanumeric termination code.

Description

• Enter 30 characters of text describing the termination code.

Notification Code

• Enter up to 10-digit alphanumeric Notification Code. This code dictates as to who gets notified of the termination (e.g. Employee, Union, Payroll department etc) and how (e.g. via e-mail, report etc). Use appropriate Notification Code for this type of termination. Please refer to (Notification Code Maintenance for details)
