Posting Round Database Maintenance

Posting Round codes are attached to job postings to identify the status of the posting. You can create as many posting round codes as you wish and report the postings by their posting round to get an idea of the difficulty in filling certain types of jobs. Posting Round screen allows you to enter valid codes, their descriptions and if they are to be displayed to applicants and/or to the managers on the Web.

Posting Round Code

• Enter up to 4-digit alphanumeric Posting Round code. 

Description

• Enter up to 30-character description for the Posting Round code.

Posting Prefix

• Enter a one-digit alphanumeric Posting Prefix. You should enter one of the Job Posting Code prefix. When assigning the Posting Round to a Job Posting, enter a Posting Round Code with the same prefix as the Job Posting Number.

Display on Employee Web

• Enter 'Y' to display the Posting Round Code when an employee requests a job posting to be displayed on the WEB. Enter 'N' to suppress Round Code on a Job Posting Inquiry on the WEB.

Display on Managers Web

• Enter 'Y' to display the Posting Round Code when a manager requests a job posting to be displayed on the WEB. Enter 'N' to suppress Round Code on a Job Posting Inquiry on the WEB.
