Absence Year Code Database Maintenance

Absence Year Codes are used in the absence, leave and entitlement systems so that the system knows what absences and leaves to accumulate based on the start and end dates of the absence year code. An absence year code will have to be set for each absence code you want to use in the entitlement system.

Absence Code

Enter the absence code for which you want to define an absence year.

Year Code

Enter up to 6 digit alphanueric absence year code.  You can use codes that correspond to the actual year ('1994') or use codes like 94-95 to indicate that the year code includes dates from two calendar years.

Description

Enter up to 30 characters describing the absence year code.

Year Start Date

Enter the starting date of the absence year specified. Enter the date in (YY)YYMMDD format.

Year End Date

Enter the ending date of the absence year specified. Enter the date in (YY)YYMMDD format.
