The Online Timesheet Entry Interface Menu gives you access to the reports and processes which interface online absence/dispatch records into payroll (Payroll).
The Online Timesheet Entry interface system differs from regular timesheet entry interface in one key way: The online system generates the detailed timesheet information immediately as each absence/dispatch is entered. The regular system requires that you run a costing process to create the detailed timesheet information.
To activate the online interface processing on the Absence/Dispatch Screen, you must go to the Search Parameters Change screen and answer prompt 19=Interface On Abs/Dis Screen with 'Y'. When done you will notice that each time the absence/dispatch detail screen closes, the interface detail screen appears. On that window you can accept the system generated records, or modify them as needed. For more information on the Search Parameters Profile.
