Dispatch Report

The Dispatch Report will report on all dispatches for the dates and criteria specified. For each employee, the report will detail the date dispatched, the starting and ending date of the dispatch, the position code, the location where the absent employee works, the absent employee, and the total hours/FTE the employee works. If any open-ended dispatches are found, an 'O' will appear under the NTS column on the report.

Detail Date

Enter the start and end dispatch detail dates (YYMMDD or YYYYMMDD) to include. This selects any dispatch taking place within and including the dates specified. To report on dispatches for a single day, specify the same date for from and to fields.

Start Date

Enter the start and end date (YYMMDD or YYYYMMDD) range of the dispatch start dates to include. This will select dispatches that have a start date on or within the ranges entered.

End Date

Enter the start and end date (YYMMDD or YYYYMMDD) range of the dispatch end dates to include. This selects any dispatches with an end date on or within the ranges entered. To report only on open ended dispatches, leave the from and to ranges blank.

Timestamp

Enter the start and end date and time ranges to select dispatch records based on dispatch timestamp. Enter the timestamp as (YYYYMMDDHHMMSS). YYYY =Year MM=Month DD=Day HH=Hour MM=Minute SS=Second. Each time a dispatch is added to the system, a timestamp is created for that record to indicate the date and time added.

Dispatch Days/Hours

Enter a range of dispatch days/hours to report. Only dispatches that fall within the days/hours specified will be reported.

Dispatch Location Types

Enter up to 10 Dispatch Location Types to select dispatch records.

Employee Categories

Enter up to 10 Employee Categories to select dispatch records.

Demographic Department Numbers

Enter up to 10 Departments to select dispatch records.

Demographic Bargaining Units  

Enter up to 10 Bargaining Units to select dispatch records.

Demographic Positions

Enter up to 10 Employee Demographic Positions to select dispatch records.

Dispatch Locations

Enter up to 10 Dispatch Locations to select dispatch records.

Dispatch Positions

Enter up to 10 Dispatch Positions to select dispatch records.

Assigned Departments

This prompt lets you select employees based on their assigned department. Enter up to 10 department codes. Only employees that have at least one of the specified department codes on their assignments will be selected. Leave this prompt blank and press <Enter> to continue to the next prompt. You can bypass assigned department selection by not specifying any codes in this field.

Include Dispatches Marked as Absences

Enter 'Y' to report dispatches that have been marked as absences.

Enter 'N' to exclude these from the report.

Enter 'O' to report only those dispatches that have been marked as absences.

Pay id

Enter the payroll ID code to report. Only employees with dispatches for positions with this payroll ID will be selected. Press <Enter> to include all pay ID codes.

Report Sort 

Enter the letter representative of the order you wish to sort this report on.

Employee Sort 

Enter A to sort employees alphabetically by Name.

Enter N to sort employees numerically by Employee Number.

Report/Merge

See standard convention to prepare the report or export data fields for this report in a text file.

Units/Hours/fte 

Enter 'U' to display the FTE/hours amounts in the units they were entered in.

Enter 'F' to convert the units entered into FTE.

Enter 'H' to convert the units entered into hours.

Employee Selection

Enter A to consider all employees for selection.

Enter S to enter selected employees individually.

Enter D to select employees individually based on consecutive day count.
