Employee Onboarding User Guide

With the HR Workflows and Employee Onboarding feature a forms process can be initiated with new hire or rehire type employees. An email is sent to an employee with temporary credentials which allows them to sign into the system to fill out the necessary information to complete the hiring process. Completed forms are routed for single or multiple-level approvals based on school division procedures. Once the final approval takes place, the form data automatically populates the associated fields in atrieveHR.

There are three options to choose from when beginning the onboarding process, as follows:

  • New Hire

  • External Job Posting Applicant (Note that this option only displays if the specific district is configured to use the External Job Posting module)

  • Rehire

This document details each of the onboarding processes as well as describes how the Temporary Token Maintenance works. Temporary Token Maintenance refers to the temporary credentials that are provided to a new hire so that they can access very specific pages/forms within Atrieve to enter the required data applicable to the hiring process.
