Permanent Employee Search Criteria Additions

The Permanent Employee Search Criteria Additions module allows you to create permanent (regular) employee search criteria. This criterion is used in the dispatch search routine and compared to the substitute/casual preferences to find the best qualified replacement.

The permanent (regular) employee search criteria is only used if prompt Use Asgns To Pick Up Criteria in on the Search Parameters screen is set to 'P' or the Prompt For Subjects & Levels prompt in the Voice Absence Parameter screen is set to 'P'.

Subject

Enter the codes of the subjects this employee regularly teaches/performs. Search to list all valid subject codes.

Level

Enter the codes of the subject levels this employee regularly teaches/performs. Search to view a list of all valid subject level codes.

Dispatch Priority

The Dispatch Priority field is used by Automated Dispatch to force certain absences to be filled before others. Employees who have a number in this field will have their absences dispatched before all other absences in the Automated Dispatch queue. The Dispatch Priority can be 1 thru 9; with 1, being the highest priority. Many employees can have the same priority number. Employees without a dispatch priority will have their absences dispatched following the normal rules of the Automated Dispatch system.

The Automated Dispatch system will attempt to dispatch all absences for employees with a dispatch priority in, with the lowest priority numbers being dispatched first. Then it will attempt to dispatch the remaining absences using the Dispatch Priority in the Absence Code Database.
