ADW Activation Mode
In this field you will select whether the Leave Code will be not active, active for testers or active for everyone. The three options are listed as follows:

Don't Activate For Anyone

Option 1 will disable the leave for everyone.

Only Activate For Designated Testers

Option 2 will make the leave code active for designated testers. The designated testers are defined in the LMW Testers field in the Substitute/Casual Dispatch Parameter Profile Page 4.

Activate For Everyone

Option 3 will activate the leave code for all employees.

Applicant Section
Select the eForm that should be displayed when an employee applies for a leave.
Cancellation Section
Select the eForm that should be displayed when an employee cancels a leave.
Contract Reference Number
Enter the reference number from the Collective Agreement.
Routing Code
Select the Routing Code applicable to the Leave Code.
ADW Cancellation Action Code
Enter the action code that you want to initiate when a leave is cancelled in ADW.
Required Document Code 1 to 5
Enter the required document code that applies to this type of leave.
Budget Checking Policy
Enter the budget checking policy that applies to this type of leave.
Bypass Schedules In ADW Absence Entry
Choose Yes or No if you want to bypass the entry of schedules in ADW Absence Entry. Default should be N.
Create Absences In ADW Absence Entry
Choose Yes or No if you want to create absences in addition to the leaves. Default should be Y.
Default Leave Cost Rule Code
Enter the Default Leave Cost Rule Code that applies to this leave code.
Leave Cost Rule Code 1 to 10
Enter the Leave Cost Rule Codes that applies to this leave code.
Hyperlink URL To Web Site
Enter an optional hyperlink URL that applies to this type of leave.
Categories To Allow Ads Absence Logging
Enter a slash delimited list of employee categories that you want to allow to log leaves for this type through ADS.
Event Type Code
Enter the Event Code that applies to this leave if applicable.
Entitlement Policy (1 to 4)
Enter the entitlement policy that applies to this leave code.
1 = PRM (HR) Entitlements
2 = OPS (Payroll) Storage Banks.
Employee must have the designated storage bank set up on the payroll associated with the leave's position code. Storage banks are defined in the payroll section of the corresponding absence code.
3 = Year Limit
Number of units (Days or Hours, defined below) this leave type can be requested for by the employee each designated 12-month period.
4 = Event Limit
Maximum number of units (Days or Hours, defined below) that can be requested in each leave request.
5 = Storage Banks - Any Time Is A Day
6= Year Limit from Storage Banks
7 = Year Limit from Storage Banks - Any Time is a Day
Entitlement Unit Type (D/H/O)
Enter the Unit Type (D for Days, H for Hours and O for Occurrence).
Entitlement Amount
Enter the entitlement amount applicable to this leave.
Entitlement Month & Day (MMDD)
Enter the starting Month and Day for the Entitlement Year Policy to start.
Entitlement Warn Or Block (W/B)
Choose Warn or Block to determine whether an applicant should receive a warning message or be blocked from entering this leave.
Message To Applicant If Entitlement Exceeded
Type in a message that will display if the applicant has exceeded the entitlement. You can use the following to display amounts when using a custom message:
*ENTITLED_AMOUNT* - Displays the amount of time an employee is entitled to.
*REMAINING_AMOUNT* - Displays the amount of time the employee has remaining.
*UNIT_TYPE* - Displays the unit type being used for this leave e.g. Hours or Days.
*REQUESTED_AMOUNT* - Displays the amount of time being requested by the employee.
When using these tags, ensure that it is typed exactly as is above. An example would be the following:
You have requested *REQUESTED_AMOUNT* *UNIT_TYPE* but only have *REMAINING_AMOUNT* *UNIT_TYPE* left to use.
The above would display as follows:
You have requested 5.00 days but only have 3.00 days left to use.

Enter a link to determine the image to be displayed for the attachment.
Attachment Uploads
Enter Y to allow uploads in all sections of the form. Enter N to allow uploads only in the Initiator Section.
Delay Dispatching Until Leave Approved (Y/N)
Enter Y to delay the filling of these types of leaves until the leave is approved.
