The Grievance Additions module lets you add, change, delete and view grievances. A grievance should be entered into the system as soon as it is officially made as opposed to when it is resolved. By entering grievances into the system as soon as they are made, they can be monitored and updated as the grievance process continues.
Employee

Enter the number of the employee making the grievance. Search to view valid employee numbers within HR. Leave this field blank and enter to exit.
Reason

Enter the reason for the grievance. This code must be a valid code from the Grievance Reason Code database. Search for valid reason codes.
Grieve Date

Enter the date (YYMMDD or YYYYMMDD) the grievance was officially made.
Grievance Number

Enter the number associated with this grievance. (up to 20 alphanumeric characters).
Location

Enter the location the employee was working at the time the grievance was made. Search to view valid locations.

Leave this field blank if you are not interested in tracking grievances by location.
Position

Enter the position code for the position the employee is grieving. This code must be a valid code from the Position Code database. Search to view valid positions.

Leave this field blank if you are not interested in tracking grievances by position.
Comment

Enter a comment relevant to the grievance. Up to 68 characters can be entered.
Review Date

Enter the date (YYMMDD or YYYYMMDD) the grievance is reviewed. This field can be left blank until it is known.
Reviewed By

Enter the employee number of the person who reviewed the grievance. Search to view valid employees. This field can be left blank until it is known.
Stage

Enter up to 5 stage codes indicating the stages of the grievance review. This code must exist in the Grievance Stage Code database. Search to view valid stage codes.
Date

Enter the date (YYMMDD or YYYYMMDD) applicable to the corresponding stage code.
Res Code

Enter the resolution code for the applicable stage of the grievance review. This code must exist in the Grievance Resolution Code database. Search to view valid resolution codes. This field can be left blank until the resolution has been determined.
Comment

Enter a short comment applicable to each different stage. Each comment may be up to 40 characters in length.
Long Comment

Enter a comment pertaining to the outcome of the grievance. Up to 3 lines can be entered.
Field To Change

Enter the number of the field you want to change. Leave this field blank and enter when all the fields are correct.
