EEP is the Electronic Educator Profile. All educators who hold a Saskatchewan Teacher's Certificate and are employed by a Saskatchewan Board of Education, an independent school, or an employer delivering an education program approved by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education (MOE) are required to complete an Electronic Educator Profile.
The EEP process in Atrieve pulls educator information from Human Resources and then creates XML files which can then be submitted to the Saskatchewan MOE.
There are 2 objects included in the creation of the XML files:
-
OrganizationEmloyment – Object 1.1
-
This object allows an employer to describe their employees and related employment information, or to update employee and employment information. The OrganizationEmployment object consists of the elements (EmployerID, PersonIdentification (element 2.1), PersonInfo (element 2.2) and EmploymentInfo (element 2.3))
2. WorkAssignment – Object 1.2
-
This object allows an employer to describe an employee’s work assignment. It consists of the following elements (EmployerID, PersonIdentification (element 2.1), PersonInfo (element 2.2) and WorkAssignmentInfo (element 2.4))
There are 5 elements included in the creation of the XML files:
-
PersonIdentification
-
PersonInfo
-
EmploymentInfo
-
WorkAssignmentInfo
Atrieve generates the OrganizationEmloyment and the WorkAssignment objects, each into their own XML files.
Prior to data being successfully submitted to the MOE, locations, positions, assignment types, assignment end reasons, and bargaining units must have a mapping to the MOE accepted values. For example, the MOE requires you to submit ‘01’ as the code for a teaching position. Atrieve HR allows you to map your codes to the MOE codes, so that your position of TEACHER, for example, would be mapped to 01, allowing you to continue working with your known data, and to also submit the correct data to the MOE.
