British Columbia 1530 Report

The 1530 Report is a report that is currently required by the BC Ministry Of Education.  It provides the number of FTE employees by program, based on the program codes and the FTE categories defined by the ministry. The report pulls its information from the specified levels of the GL or GL alias that is attached to each employee assignment in HR.

GL Year

Enter the GL year for validation purposes. The specified year's Chart Of Accounts will be accessed to validate the GL and also to obtain the GL alias. This field is defaulted with the value contained in the HR User Specific Parameter Profile, page 3, the FTE Allocation Report (Annualized) GL Segment Position field.

Program Source

Choose A if the progam is stored on one the Alias levels

Choose G if the program is stored on the GL levels

Account Selection Prefix

To select only certain program codes, specify a prefix here. Only those programs that begin with the specified prefix will display. For example, if '1' was entered, only program codes starting with a '1' would be selected. 

Program Segment to Subtotal On

Enter a number that represents the number of characters of the program code that you want to subtotal on. If you enter '1', the report will print a subtotal each time the 1st character of the program level changes.

If you enter '2', the report will print a subtotal each time the first two characters of the program level change.

Employee Selection

Termination Code(S) To Exclude

Enter the status codes here to exclude. Example: If 'T' was entered, all employees with a status of 'T' would be excluded from the report.

Employee Categories

Enter employee categories to include on the report.

Include Leave Assignments

Enter 'Y' to include employees that are on leave assignments.

Enter 'N' to exclude employees that are on leave.

Enter 'O' to include only those employees that are on leave.

Assignment AsOf Date

Only assignments current as of the date (enter (YY)YYMMDD) specified here will be selected. This prompt lets you run the report as of any date in the past or future. A future date will only produce meaningful results if future assignments are entered.

Report/Merge

Enter 'R' to print a report.

Enter 'M' to create a merge (export) file. The file will be in the folder specified in the logical SRB$HREXP. The file name will be <job number>.MRG.

Report Title

Enter the title to appear on the report.
