Seniority Additions

The Seniority Additions module lets you manually create seniority records for employees. This option should only receive limited use as the Load Seniority With Adjustments process will do this for you for many employees at once.

Employee

  • Enter the number of the employee to create a seniority record for. Search to view valid employees. Leave this field blank and Enter key to exit.

Seniority Code

  • Enter the seniority code you want to create the seniority record. Search to view valid seniority codes.

Amount (Hours)

  • Enter the seniority amount in hours. This amount represents the total seniority amount of the employee. Once you enter this amount, the system will use the days per month and days per year fields attached to the specified seniority code to translate the days amount into years, months, and days.

Amount (Days)

  • Enter the seniority amount in days. This amount represents the total seniority amount of the employee. Once you enter this amount, the system will use the days per month and days per year fields attached to the specified seniority code to translate the days amount into years, months, and days.
  • At the bottom of the screen you are shown the total of the seniority adjustments for the employee's seniority code. The total shown is the total of all adjustments regardless of pay period.
