The User Defined Absence Report Profile Additions screen lets you create new user defined reports. You can create as many different reports as you want.
Report Code
-
Enter a code to assign to this report (up to 10 characters letters and/or numbers).
Desc
-
Enter the name (description) of the report (up to 30 characters). Keep in mind the name entered will appear on top of the report.
Title 1
-
Enter the heading (title) for the current column. Each user defined report lets you define up to 10 columns. Because each column is quite narrow, each column can have two titles. Title 1 will appear directly above Title 2 and can be up to 8 characters each.
Title 2
-
Enter the heading (title) for the current column. Each user defined report lets you define up to 10 columns. Because each column is quite narrow, each column can have two titles. Title 1 will appear directly above Title 2. Each title can be up to 8 characters in length. You may wish to leave this field blank if the heading you placed in Tittle1 was descriptive enough.
Code
-
Enter a valid absence code. Search to view valid absence codes. You can enter several absence codes per column. As each code is entered you will notice a list of the codes entered appearing under the cursor.
-
To remove an absence code from the list, press <Remove>.
-
When <Remove> is pressed you will see the following prompt:
Select Code To Remove/Exit
-
Enter the absence code you want to remove. Enter 'E' to exit when done removing absence codes.
ST
-
Enter the start date in the range of dates for the absences to be included in this column. The start and end date prompts are optional. If used, instead of running the regular User Defined Absence Report you would run the User Defined Absence Report With Date Ranges. You can of course put different date range in each column so you could create a report showing the absences for each month of the year (keep in mind that you only have ten columns to work with) or one comparing several years worth of absences.
End
-
Enter the end date in the range of dates for the absences to include in the column.
