Suspended Certificate Additions

The Suspended Certificate Additions module lets you add suspended certificates. Information you can maintain includes: certificate number, employee, review date, suspension date, and comment. Each year the Ministry of Education issues a list of teachers with suspended certificates. If this list in entered into the system through this screen, the system will warn you in certificate entry if any of these numbers are entered.

Certificate Number

  • Enter the certificate number (10 characters). This number is only checked to insure there is not a duplicate in this file. Search for all certificates in the file and the holders name.

Employee

  • Enter the employee number if the holder of the certificate is currently employed by your organization. Enter key to bypass this field. Search displays valid employee numbers.

Name

  • Enter the Employee's name. A window will open for entry of the name data. As you enter the section of the name the full name will display as it will be shown for searches and other applications. The separate parts of the name are stored for use in some reports and other parts of HR as required.

Under Review

  • Enter 'Y' if the suspension is under review or 'N' if the suspension is not under review.

Review Date

  • Enter the date (YYMMDD or YYYYMMDD) the review is to be completed/started depending on your requirements. Leave blank if the date unknown or there is no review date.

Suspension Date

  • Enter the date (YYMMDD or YYYYMMDD)of the suspension if known. This field can be left blank if the date is not known.

Cancellation Date

  • Enter the date (YYMMDD or YYYYMMDD) of the cancellation if known, this field can be left blank if the date is not known.

Reason/Comments

  • Enter 3 lines of up to 70 characters each of comment, describing the reason for the suspension or any other information you wish. The field is optional.
