Supervisor calculation based on authorizer location for staffing notifications.

Added four (4) new options in the calculation of supervisor for staffing notifications to accommodate employees who have authorizer location supervisors.
Why we think you’ll like it:
When creating staffing notifications for employees with authorizer locations, HR users will save time and reduce errors because they will no longer have to remember to manually enter the supervisor email address.

To activate this new functionality in Atrieve HR, navigate to HR Setup & Maintenance > Profiles > Staffing Notification Profile > Changes. Page 1, Field labelled “Supervisor(s) to Send Notifications To”.
The new options A-D will:
Check the employee’s assignment for an authorizing location (auth loc), if it has an auth loc, then the supervisor calculated should be the Principal of the AUTH LOC.
If the employee’s position code has an AUTH LOC, then the supervisor calculated should be the Principal of the AUTH LOC.
Finally, if there is no auth loc on the position or on the assignment, then the supervisor is calculated based on position code supervisor as indicated in the table below:

C - First match by pos & loc, old & new - AUTH LOC | Same as existing Option 3: System checks supervisor position code on employee’s position code and notification is sent to the first supervisor at the first location on both the old and new assignments. For example, if more than one supervisor is found for each location (old and new), the system will use the first supervisor found alphabetically. |
D - All matches by pos & loc, old & new - AUTH LOC | Same as existing Option 4: System checks supervisor position code on employee’s position code and notification is sent to all supervisors at all locations on both the old and new assignment. |
Note: Because there is no history on auth loc principal, the old/new reference are ignored - we will use whoever is in that auth loc principal field right now.
