Security Applied to the Report Viewer

In the Report Writers, security can be defined in "other information" screen (last screen), at the bottom.

You can add security by adding the "role" and/or "employee" by using the Add Emp button. These roles are what are referenced in HR and in Security Builder. Roles that appear in this list have been setup in HR, in the Role Code Database.

The user's report viewer will only display those reports that have been set up with role(s) or employee number(s) that match that of the user. If there are no employee numbers or roles defined on a report it will not be visible to anyone using the Report Viewer.
