Insights - Configure Insights

Once you have been granted permission to the Insights landing page you can choose the Power Tiles to display and customize the layout.

Steps to configure the Insights landing page

1. Click on the Edit button located next to the Insights landing page header text

2. Click to highlight the Power Tiles in the Available box to move to the Selected box (use ctrl+click to select multiple tiles at one time)

3. Click the right arrow button to move values from the Available box to the Selected box

4. To change the order that the Power Tiles display on the landing page, click on a tile name in the Selected box and then click the Up or Down arrow button to reorder the list. Note: The tile at the top of the list will display in the top left corner of the page, and additional tiles will display across the same row before wrapping to the next row. Tile sizes are 1 x 1 and 2 x 1, a row can display four 1 x 1 tiles, or two 2 x 1 tiles, or one 2 x 1 tile and two 1 x 1 tiles. The number of tiles that display across a row may be different for the logged in user based on their screen resolution or browser zoom

5. Once complete , click Save and the popup widow will close and the Insights landing page will be updated

6. To deselect Power Tiles, follow the same steps as above but select values in the Selected box and click the left arrow button to move back to Available. Click Save to save changes and return to the Insights landing page.

Additional Notes

Drag and Drop is not fully supported in this version of Insights.  To modify tile layout on your landing page, use the up and down arrows located next to the selected box.

Menu Links

Users with the Menu Links permission will have access to five Menu Links Power Tiles. To add the Menu Links tile(s) to your Insights landing page, click the Edit button next to the page header. By default the five Menu Links tiles will be in the Available list, select the tiles to move to the Selected list, and Save changes. The new tile(s) will display on the Insights landing page, to customize click on the tiles Edit icon. See the Insights - Menu Links Power Tile for more information on this option.

Custom Links

Users with the Custom Links permission will have access to five Custom Links Power Tiles. To add the Custom Links tile(s) to your Insights landing page, click the Edit button next to the page header. By default the five Custom Links tiles will be in the Available list, select the tiles to move to the Selected list, and Save changes. Report Links

Users with the Report Links permission will have access to five Report Links Power Tiles. To add the Report Links tile(s) to your Insights landing page, click the Edit button next to the page header.
