Insights - Report Links Power Tiles

The Report Links Power Tile provide a way to categorize/group report links, enhancing the functionality of the Report Writers.

When defining the report links to display on the Power Tile, the list of Report Writers is filtered by the Report Writers that the logged in user has access to. Users with access to Report Viewers only will not have access to reports from the Report Links tile.

Steps to modify and use the Report Links tile:

1. If Report Links have not been previously defined the tile will be blank

2. Click the Edit pencil located at the top right corner of the tile

3. Modify the Display Name to reflect the category/group for the Power Tile

4. Click the Report Writer dropdown, and select the report writer to work with (only those Report Writers that the logged in user has menu access to will be available in the list)

5. Select the report folder to further filter the list of available reports

6. Note that reports not previously added to a folder are consolidated in a folder called ‘Individual Reports’

7. Click to highlight the report(s) to move to the Selected box (use ctrl+click to select multiple rows at one time)

8. Click the right arrow button to move values from the Available box to the Selected box

9. To change the order that the links display, click on a report link in the Selected box and then click the Up or Down arrow button to reorder the list

10. Once complete, click Save and the popup widow will close and the landing page will be updated

11. To remove report links, follow the same steps as above but select values in the Selected box and click the left arrow button to move back to Available. Click Save to save changes and return to the Insights landing page.

12. Once you are returned to the landing page, you can select a link from Report Links Power Tile and a new browser window will open redirecting you to the generated report.
