Learn more:

In order to print the CPP2 data in Box 16A of the T4, please refer to the user guide for configuration settings. Box 16A will also print on the T4 Summary and Total Reporting.

The CPP Balancing Tool was created to allow districts to re-balance amounts taken between CPP and CPP2 which may be necessary if pay periods are run out of sequence or if payroll groups are run simultaneously.

In adjustment programs (Year To Date Adjustments, Manual Cheques, Statement History Adjustments), we have closed a loophole which allowed users to enter CPP deductions more than once per set of entries. When users enter CPP more than once per set of entries, the CPP2 calculation was adversely impacted. CPP2 calculations have now been built into Statement History Adjustments.

The Year to Date Register will include the breakdown of CPP1 and CPP2 deductions in all versions of the report.
