What we’re doing:
Optimized the Portal Authentication Audit feature to better support environments with large volumes of login data.
Improvements include:
Faster filtering, sorting, and paging for large datasets
A new date filter to help users quickly locate specific records
Enhanced Excel export functionality that now works seamlessly with filtered data
These updates were designed to improve usability and responsiveness in high-activity environments, ensuring a smoother experience for users reviewing authentication history.
Why we think you’ll like it:
Easier access to audit data, better performance in large districts, and more efficient tools for tracking login activity and supporting security reviews.

Access to the Portal Authentication Page can be granted in Menu Builder. Select a menu Role to add the menu item to, then click on Modify. You can then locate the new menu item under Tools > Security & Setup > Menu Builder. Move the menu item from the Available list to Selected and then click Save. Role Based Security permissions must also be applied by going to Tools > Security & Setup > Role Based Security. Move the ‘View Audit Log Entries’ into Selected Permissions from the Authentication Service product drop-down.
Note that the user will see the new menu item once they have re-authenticated (i.e. once they log out and then back in)
