Customer Merge and Audit within Accounts Receivable

What we’re doing:

A new menu called Customer Merge is available within Accounts Receivable to allow users to merge regular and miscellaneous customers, if required. The customer accounts will be merged and all history related to both customers will be retained.

An audit menu is also now available of customer changes.

Why we think you’ll like it:

It’s possible for a customer to be entered twice in the Receivables system. Both customers may have invoice and payment history that needs to be retained. By allowing users to merge these records, users would no longer have to be mindful of the existence of the duplicate customer, ensuring to just use one over the other for consistency.

The ability to audit customer changes helps with troubleshooting issues, provides transparency and record integrity.
