Absence Code Hyperlink Height:

This is the size of the window that will open when users click the Absence Code Hyperlink. Leaving blank will default the height to approx. 667 pixels.

Absence Code Hyperlink Text:

In Absence Entry, to assist users in selecting the appropriate absence code, you can add a hyperlink next to the Absence Reason drop-down menu. The text you enter here will appear as the hyperlink text.

Absence Code Hyperlink URL:

This is the URL that will open when users click the Absence Code Hyperlink text.

Absence Code Hyperlink Width:

This is the size of the window that will open when users click the Absence Code Hyperlink. Leaving blank will default the width to approx. 596 pixels.

Absence Code Hyperlink Options (i.e. toolbar=yes, scrollbars=yes, location=no, menubar=no, status=yes, resizable=yes):

Add options as described, separated by commas to control the window that opens when users click on the Absence Code Hyperlink.

*Address to send email to if the Add Schedule button is used:

If the Add Schedule button is used, an email can be sent to a specific person to alert them to this activity in case it was used incorrectly.

Allow open ended leaves to be closed in View/Change (Y/N):

If set to Y, users will be able to close open-ended absences in view/change.

List by employee number having access to enter for all users (Ex: /10010/11765/):

Users entered in this space will have access to a district-level employee lookup in Absence Entry, View or Change, Unavailability, Extra Time, Workboard, Change Telephone, Change PIN, Text & Email Profile

*Message to display if selected replacement not available (500 char max):

Add a custom message to users to display if a requested replacement is not available. If left blank, the default is:

“The employee you requested is not available to work during some or all of the times you have entered. It is possible, however, that prior to this job being dispatched, that this employees availability could change. Do you still wish to request this employee even though they will likely be unavailable?”

Block Message In Absence Entry If Name Is Not Recorded In ADS:

If you have employees logging extra time using an absence reason to deposit to a bank, enter these absence codes here. That means they’ll be able to use that time before payroll interfaces it.

  • Y=Default to employee’s assigned location only, when location override is blank. Ignore HR Auth Locations whether part of override or not.

  • O=Default to employee’s assigned location only, when location override is blank. Show HR Assignment and Auth Locs if location override exists.

The default for this field is 60 seconds if no other value is entered.  This profile indicates the data on the page will be cached for 60 seconds.

Time ( in seconds ) for View change to sleep when using cached pages:

The default for this field is 15 seconds if no other value is entered.  This profile indicates navigating back to the application will be delayed by 15 seconds on a refresh.
