Configure Atrieve Authentication to integrate with Microsoft Azure Active Directory

Before enabling Microsoft Azure Single Sign-on for Atrieve, you are required to reconfigure your existing Atrieve authentication from;

• Atrieve integrated to the division’s on-premise Active Directory using LDAPS protocol

to;

• Atrieve integrated to Microsoft Azure Active Directory (cloud-based) via LDAPS

To enable this configuration, you are required to work with PowerSchool engineers to complete the setup.

1. Prepping your Azure Cloud Environment

The following configuration MUST be completed by the Division’s IT staff before proceeding with the reconfiguration of Atrieve:

1. Create and configure an Azure Active Directory Domain Services managed domain

2. Configure secure LDAP for an Azure Active Directory Domain Services managed domain

2. Configuring Atrieve to authenticate to Azure AD

Once both items in Step 1 are complete, contact PowerSchool Support to schedule the configuration to be completed. To submit a request, go to http://help.powerschool.com and submit a support case for Atrieve.

PowerSchool will coordinate a date/time with you to complete the configuration.
