Constraints
A Constraint on a user offers customization of a Permission to allow finer-grained control of that permission.
For example, a user may have access to Journal Entry to create new entries, append, reverse, etc. but it might be necessary to restrict the batch type codes that they can access while performing these operations. When the HasBatchTypeSecurity Permission is added to a Role to which the user has been assigned, specify the batch type code(s) to which they will have access.
Constraints are added on the Users page

Available Constraints
Journal Entry Batch Type Security: this constraint restricts the batch codes that the user can enter or view in Journal Entry.
- Important: If using the web-based Journal Entry and need to restrict a user's access to batch type codes while in Journal Entry (i.e. filter the list of available batch type codes) setup the Journal Entry Batch Type Security Constraint. Without this constraint, the user will have access to all Batch Type Codes while in Journal Entry.
