Journal Entry Performance Improvements

Streamlining the process to reduce the amount of time it takes to post journal entry batches to Atrieve Finance
Why we think you’ll like it:
When a journal entry is posted, the system runs through a series routines and validations before updating Atrieve Finance. Once successfully posted the user is redirected to the Search page where they can see details about the posted batch. The process of posting and then redirecting to the search page can take a significant amount of time. Performance improvements have been implemented that drastically improves the time it takes to complete this process, in the following workflows:

Create to Post

Append to Post

Reverse to Post

In this release, the user is no longer redirected back to the Search page. Instead, the posted batch details display on the current page, thus removing the significant processing time to redirect back to the search page.

Note that you can still navigate to the Search page as needed, we have just removed this step from the post routine.
