The Location Code allows you to specify physical locations within the organization. This code is then used to produce the payroll cheques, the earnings statements, and several reports in sequence by the physical location of the employees. This is to facilitate distribution. This element is used in the Location field on the employee master screen.

Enter up to a 30 alphanumeric character description.
Alternate Sort Code

Enter up to a 10 alphanumeric alternate sort code. The value entered in this field can be used as the main sort factor in the generation of additional Earnings Summary, Payroll Register and Specific Deduction Arrears Reports from the payroll stream. The generation of these reports over and above the regular reports is controlled through field 'Use Alternate Sort Code' in the Users Specific Parameters Profile. Refer to the documentation under the Users Specific Parameters Profile for more information.
