T4A Process Guide

T4A Setup

  1. Review the Employer Constants Database. Make sure that the correct Employer and Transmitter numbers are filled in along with all other relevant fields.

  2. Review the T4/T4A Tax Forms Format Profile. Check the profile against an actual T4A to ensure that the correct pay codes and deduction codes are being reported in each box. Refer to the Payroll Manual for the estimated T4A print layouts.
